Movers Armed with Home Care Kits

Not only will your belongings be protected when you book a move with Simonik Transportation & Warehousing, but your home will be too. The movers in New Jersey come fully armed with a Home Care Kit issued by Allied Van Lines in the spring of 2012. We have customized it and added some additional protection to the kit. Other New Jersey moving companies may skip this important step during your move. Sure they may pad-wrap and custom crate valuable items, but they may forget to pad your doorways. This may result in unwanted dents in your door jamb.
The movers in Philadelphia also were issued the personalized Home Care Kits. When you want maximum protection all the way around, Simonik Transportation & Warehousing goes to great lengths to protect our customer’s old home and new one. The kit contains the following protective items:
  • Door and door jamb covers
  • Banister covers
  • 2 to 3 rolls of carpet saver protection
  • Shoe booties
  • Masking tape for installation of cardboard protection on hardwood and tile floors
All of this protection is contained in a carry-on case labeled with the driver’s name. Each of our drivers has been instructed to make sure they have this kit with them every day, all day. Safety is what we pride ourselves on, which is one of the factors that led to our new contract with the General Services Administration under the Federal Supply Schedule, Schedule 48 SIN 653-8. This is an award given to us to handle government office relocations for the states of New Jersey & Pennsylvania. The entire crew of Philadelphia and New Jersey movers takes their jobs seriously, and always gives a measurable amount of effort into every move.

AC Hilton Future Unknown

The struggling ACH Casino owned by hedge fund Colony Capital is in dire straights.  They owe 414.8 million to lenders and hasn't paid its mortgage since January 2009.  The finances are down the drain as profits of $12.1 million has decreased 11.3% from the same month of September last year.  The ACH has been looking for a buyer to ward off forecloser since January.  In July the ACH ended a franchise agreement to allow the ACH to use the Hilton name.
For the first half of this year the ACH posted an operating lose of $11 million in the red.
Colony bought the ACH then known as Atlantic City Hilton.  The latest instance that casinos danced with not getting their gambling license renewed was with the Tropicana in 2007.  Their gambling license was revoked because of poor management from owners.  The state appraised the Tropicana at a value of $1 billion but ended up selling the casino in bankruptcy court for $200 million.
The only precedent where a casino's gambling license was not renewed due to financial stability was in 1989 for the Atlantic Casino.  The bad news is they closed a month later.  AC Hilton casino is in a tight spot and needs to a drastic action plan not just to be profitable but to stay afloat.
If you're one of the two thousand casino workers at the ACH Casino and fear for your job security start looking elsewhere.  If you can't find another job at a competitor then you just might have to leave Jersey to get  to your next stop.  New Jersey moving companies have you covered.  Their team of experienced professionals are accredited and have decades of tested reliability making them your NJ movers of choice.

Scorsese New York Film Festival

Who said Scorsese couldn't make films other than gangster flicks?  The academy award winning filmmaker best known for movies such as Goodfellas and The Departed is making a family film!  Hugo, his new 3D movie to open in theaters November 23rd (day before Thanksgiving) , is based on the book by the same title written by  Brian Selznick.
An unfinished version of Hugo was screened last night at Avery Fischer Hall to a standing ovation.  Scorsese did make known that the movie is still not in final cut.  The film still needs final touches to special effects, soundtrack, credits, and other sections before its release by Thanksgiving.  The New York Film Festival director Richard Pena states that Hugo was the first unfinished movie to be shown at the festival since 1991 when Beauty and the Beast graced the screen.
The film stars rising talents Asa Butterfield and Chloe Grace Moretz as the lead actors.  Both children actors were on stage after the screening.  The movie so enlists the help of Jude Law, Emily Mortimer, Sacha Baron Cohen (yes the real Borat) and Ray Winstone.
The film makes homages to silent films with the iconic scene when Harold Lloyd hangs from the hands of a skyscraper clock.

The NJ movers with experience

There are a variety of New Jersey moving companies.  Some are young and some are old.  Some are tested and true some are just inexperienced and just plain new.  Dr. Seuss never wrote a book about moving companies but for a trustable NJ movers he would have made Reliable Van & Storage Company the hero of his book.
For over 85 years Reliable has been moving the Northeast serving over four thousand and five hundred families with their local and international moving.  It's a little known fact that the average life cycle of a family business is around twenty seven years.  Four generations later Reliable is still operated by the family, great grandchildren to be exact.  To be ensured that your household moving, commercial moving, international moving , and storage needs to met the certain solution will be your providers of peace of mind: Reliable Van & Storage.
